Conflict Minerals Purchasing Policy

Hyoja Precision prohibits the use of conflict minerals and participates in responsible mineral sourcing to fulfill our responsibility as a global company. Based on the OECD Guidelines, SEC requirements under the U.S. Dodd-Frank Act, and the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation, we also guide our suppliers with a code of conduct and encourage them to trade with RMAP-certified smelters.

Covered Conflict Minerals (3TG)

Tin · Tantalum · Tungsten · Gold.
We prohibit the use of minerals unethically mined and distributed from 10 conflict-affected regions in Africa, including the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Republic of the Congo, the Central African Republic, South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Zambia, and Angola.

Other Managed Minerals

In addition to 3TG, we include minerals associated with human rights violations or environmental destruction during mining. In particular, we recognize concerns regarding child rights violations at cobalt mines in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and manage them in accordance with OECD guidance, while continuously monitoring newly emerging minerals of concern.

Hyoja Precision's Efforts

  • 01We thoroughly investigate whether our products contain conflict minerals to ensure they have gone through a legal and ethical distribution process.
  • 02We provide our suppliers with guidance on complying with conflict minerals regulations and regularly survey their conflict minerals usage status.
  • 03We continuously work to extend the non-use of conflict minerals and responsible mineral purchasing policies to our suppliers' own business partners.
